Our Scholarship
This scholarship opportunity is open to male students from Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Suffolk, Portsmouth, and Chesapeake. Also, students who are active participants of the Alpha Scholars Academy mentoring program may apply as well. Feel free to distribute this application to any deserving young man you may know. Children/dependents of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity members are not eligible for this scholarship.

Application Requirements:

African American Male
-
Four-Year Accredited College/University-bound high school seniors.

Students must be enrolled in college by Fall 2024 to receive the scholarship.

A minimum grade point average of 2.5 (C+) is required.

The student's high school transcript and essay must accompany the application.

Proof of Voter Registration based on eligibility to vote in November 2024.
-
Children/dependents of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity members are not eligible for this scholarship.
